Domestic violence is indiscriminate and negatively impacts the communities in which we live. Regardless of socio-economic status, educational level, race, ethnicity, or religious beliefs, the tentacles of domestic violence reach deep within our communities.

The Education & Training Department of DVSSP believes that education is the key to prevention. Therefore, tailored to your available time and need, we offer free presentations to all adult and youth community organizations. In an age and venue appropriate context, these informative presentations bring the issue of violence in relationships to the forefront. Based on your desired topic, from “DV101” to “The Effects of DV on Children” to “Why Someone Stays?” and everything in between, contact your local DVSSP Education & Training Department office to arrange a guest speaker for your next meeting.

Are you involved with the Boy/Girl Scouts, an after-school program, a summer camp, a youth sports program or other youth group or club?

Based on age, DVSSP will educate your youth on the often difficult issues facing them. As a leader or concerned adult, we can assist you as well by offering techniques to aid in addressing these contemporary issues.
