Trivia Night brings laughter, competition, and community support to Greene County

DVSSP’s second annual Trivia Night, held Friday, May 2 at The Way Community Center of Greene County, brought together fun-loving competitors, generous sponsors, and dedicated supporters to raise funds and awareness for survivors of domestic violence.

The event featured 14 teams battling it out over eight rounds of trivia questions. Congratulations to our winning teams:

  • 🥇 Colby Strong – First Place

  • 🥈 Asses Who Know Stuff – Second Place

  • 🥉 Vandelay Industries – Third Place

The evening was filled with laughter, friendly rivalry, and purpose as participants came together in support of DVSSP’s mission to end domestic violence through advocacy, prevention, and empowerment.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, participants, and donors, the event raised $3,500 to support DVSSP’s services for survivors in Greene County.

We are deeply grateful to The Way Community Center for generously donating their space for the event.

We extend a special thanks to our event sponsors, including Mastermind sponsors First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Greene County, Kinetic, and Therapeutic Healing Services; Brainiac sponsors Edward Jones and Shafer Counseling Services; in-kind donors Let's Roam and the Observer-Reporter; and Spark Good grant partner Walmart of Waynesburg.

Trivia Night was not only a memorable evening of fun and connection but also a meaningful opportunity to support survivors in Greene County. Events like this help DVSSP continue offering life-saving services to those in need while engaging our community in powerful ways.
